Frequently Asked Questions

What happens once I’ve placed my order?

All orders are processed and posted out from our Herefordshire studio on the same working day (Monday-Saturday), excluding Sundays and UK bank holidays. Orders received after 5.30pm will be processed and posted the following working day.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

A range of postal services are available to choose from. First Class Royal Mail usually takes 1-2 working days to arrive. Second Class Royal Mail usually takes 2-4 working days to arrive. Overseas orders via courier usually take 7-10 working days to arrive. Though due to Brexit we are finding shipping to Europe now causes extra delays which is out of our hands.

What’s your returns policy?

We’re confident you’ll love our products, but if you’re not happy, you can return any items within seven working days of receipt, provided the item is unused and returned in undamaged, original packaging. Please drop me a line at craigcandleman@gmail.com to let me know you’re wanting to process a return.

What if my candle arrives damaged?

This rarely happens, but occasionally our products aren’t looked after in transit as much as we’d like. We’re happy to replace any damaged candles free of charge, provided you contact me with a photo of the damage, so that I can inform the delivery agent.

How will my order be packaged?

We’re proud to say that we avoid the use of plastics in our packaging materials. Even our postal boxes are made using cardboard which is FCA approved. Inside your parcel, you’ll find biodegradable peanut chips. You can simply run under water or leave in a sink full of water, where they’ll dissolve. Even our packing tape is plastic free as we only use paper.

Can I re-use or recycle my candle?

Absolutely. Our glass jars can be disposed of in normal recycling bins. However, many of our customers choose to wash our containers with soapy water and reuse them for bits and bobs around the home. Our apothecary jars come with screw lids, which makes them even handier for storing small items securely.

Are your products vegan?

All of our candles are made with 100% plant-based materials, and are soy free
